Have you ever heard that you should decorate with pink, because everyone looks good in pink room? Is is true?
I was up with the birds today - they were waaaayyyy too happy about life at 4:30 am. I actually went outside to see if I could locate the nest of one particularly chirpy bird. In my tired cranky state I thought I might throw a rock at it. But, I realized the sound was coming from a tree way over at the castle and even if I could throw that far, there might be a baby in there. Statistically speaking, I think most birds are new parents at this time of the year. I'm not a horrible person, really. If the birds would wait to chirp until 7:00 am (9:00 am on weekends), we could all live happily ever after. But, as I considered how I might obtain a black market BB gun in this country, I realized I probably would not kill the horrible parent bird anyway, because that would orphan the baby, and then I would have to climb the tree and adopt and raise a baby bird, and I just don't have time for that.
